Dr. Stephen Halfaker is the president of the New Education for the Workplace Board of Directors. Dr. Halfaker serves as the Superintendent of the Lakeside Union School District. Dr. Halfaker served as the SIATech CEO from 1999 through 2004 and remains an important member of its board of directors. He has worked as a teacher and principal of secondary schools in several San Diego County school districts during his 25-year tenure as an educational professional. Dr. Halfaker has been widely recognized for his professional achievements, including the Job Corps Alpha Star Award and Poway Principal of the Year. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
