Reflections on the program

"Two things make New Education for the Workplace a winning proposition for the Albuquerque Job Corps Center. First of all, we invest in technology and curriculum utilizing technology.  Secondly, we individualize for every student by developing an Individual Learning Plan.  Every student knows what they need to work on and why."

Why the program works for our students

"The students need to know that you care, but they don't want to feel like your project.  I offer procedures to the students that are reasonable and that maintain high expectations.  With this out of way, I can relate to them as a person without confusing work and play.  They do very well with this environment."
