Reflections on the program

"This program works well because of the great staff at NEWCorp. They have a positive attitude and are there for the students' needs."

"One time we had an ELL student pass his GED. He was so excited, he was jumping up and down, with loud screams. When our students reach their goals, I believe they value it a lot more because most of them come from difficult backgrounds."

Thoughts on being an Administrative Assistant for NEWCorp

"Even though I am not in a classroom setting, I enjoy seeing young adults meet their goals, especially when they never thought they would reach them."

Board meetings are open to the public. Board meetings are held at NEWCorp's administrative office at 217 Escondido Ave., Ste. 6, Vista, CA, 92084, unless otherwise specified in the agenda. For Board meeting dates, agendas and minutes, please contact us or call 760-945-1227.

Testimonials

NEWCorp and the Albuquerque Job Corp Center (AJCC) enjoy a very successful partnership. With the full support of AJCC, NEWCorp provides student scheduling and TABE Assessment for the entire center in addition to providing basic instruction in Numeracy, Literacy, and GED preparation. As a result of this partnership, more students at AJCC have experienced success in achieving their GED than ever before.
