Accreditation

Accreditation

New Education for the Workplace (NEWCorp) partners with several accredited programs.

Albuquerque Job Corps Center

The Albuquerque Job Corps Center is accredited from North Central Accreditation (NCA). NCA visited the center in February 2008, and it was recommended for accreditation.

School for Integrated Academics and Technologies (SIATech)

All SIATech high schools in Arizona and Florida are currently accredited by one of the three regional agencies that are recognized by the US Department of Education, and the Albuquerque SIATech site will be undergoing an accreditation review in the 2008-09 school year.

  • The Southern Association of Schools and Colleges (SACS) accredits all SIATech Florida sites.

  • The North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA) accredits the Arizona sites in Phoenix and Tucson and, as of April 2006, unified with SACS, CITA (Council on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation), and NSSE (National Study of School Evaluation), and is known commonly as NCA CASI.

  • The SIATech site in Albuquerque is accredited by the New Mexico Public Education Department and will go through the initial new school accreditation with NCA CASI (baseline and self-study) during the 2008-09 school year.
